Goals
Rock is Dead is a music festival concept based in Costa Mesa, California. The festival is meant to be a way to showcase the artists who are carrying on the legacy of rock & alternative music.
The Brand
The festival's branding touches on several concepts. Primarily, it is meant to fit with the tongue-in-cheek nature of the festival's name itself. To do this, it is made to look like a ransom note, thus emphasizing and lightening the "death" in the name. This theme is carried out throughout the project, like the blood splatters on the poster or the torn paper assets.
